While the long, white shore has some rocky patches, Playa Tamarindo is perhaps Costa Rica’s most beautiful beach. In the past Playa Tamarindo was a more tranquil beach with a small amount of tourism. As result of it’s beauty, it has become a very popular tourist destination growing rapidly with no sense of arrival or central plaza that is typical to the area of Guanacaste. ArcSitio Design and a local architect, Arcqueco, were asked by the Ministry of Tourism to prepare a site plan that would reflect it’s rich ecology, culture and history of the region. |
