Inferno Ice Hockey Arena

ArcSitio Design is currently working with RIBEAU Entertainment and PA Sports & Entertainment on a new sports arena. The 6,000 seat arena will be the new home for the ECHL Columbia Inferno. The project will be completed for an estimated $30 million and will bring over 140 full and part-time jobs to Lexington County. The new facility is expected to be in full operation for the 2007-2008 hockey season.
ASD’s site and master plan consists of a large plaza and promenade for quickly dispersing pedestrian flows as well as providing space for outdoor events. Asphalt parking will be located adjacent to the arena for daily use workers while the majority of parking stalls will be turf.
