Located on Flagstaff Mountain in Deer Valley, UT, this six-story mountain lodge features ski-in, ski-out access, private hot tubs and patios for the owner’s use, and a below-grade parking garage. The site is prominently located near the entrance to Deer Valley’s Northside Express Ski Lift. Each program component was carefully sited to minimize grading, retain as much existing vegetation as possible, and create an “in the woods” sense of seclusion while still affording the occasional view out to the ski runs or the mountains. Materials and details used are in keeping with period mountain lodge architecture. |
